ViewsML’s AI-Powered Virtual Biomarker Staining Research to be Presented at American Association for Cancer Research Drug Discovery and Development Conference 2026 (AACR D3)

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre’s Dr. Charles Jeffrey Tan to present findings on diagnostic accuracy of virtual PD-L1 immunohistochemistry in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma in collaboration with ViewsML

WHO: ViewsML, a leader in AI-powered virtual biomarker staining, will attend the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Drug Discovery and Development (AACR D3) conference. ViewsML partnered with Dr. Charles Jeffrey Tan of the University Health Network's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre to contribute data to a scientific poster presentation, alongside co-authors Dr. Lilian Siu and Dr. Anna Spreafico.

WHAT: ViewsML contributed data to the poster "Diagnostic Accuracy of Virtual Programmed Death Ligand-1 Immunohistochemistry in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma using Artificial Intelligence." The research will be presented during Poster Session A.

Virtual biomarker staining has the potential to transform cancer research and precision medicine by enabling biomarker analysis directly from standard H&E pathology images within existing workflows. By reducing reliance on additional tissue sections and laboratory staining, AI-powered computational approaches can help preserve limited tissue samples, accelerate research workflows, and expand access to advanced biomarker insights. ViewsML's contribution to this research reflects its commitment to advancing AI-driven pathology tools that support oncology drug discovery and development.
